HorsePlay NZ is a New Zealand owned and operated online marketing shop based in Auckland, New Zealand.

There are many horse tack shops in NZ, typically with a full range of equestrian products – tack, jods, boots and chaps etc. so we don’t try to compete with them.  Instead, we carefully choose horse products that are special, very high quality and that will appeal to many horse riders who are concerned about their horse’s health, comfort and safety.

We all love and appreciate the pleasure we derive from working with horses and it is because of this pleasure that we began this business more than 20 years ago .  We are the proud owners of just the one magnificent Clydesdale cross – Bonnie.

We have been the New Zealand agent for the Best Friend Equine range of products for many years.  More recently, we are very excited to have become the local agent for Urad, Italian made leather treatment and leather conditioning products and the local rep. for the Amacron Equine range of nutrients, supplements, calmers etc.  Both of these new product ranges are absolutely product leaders in their respective fields and perfectly complement our Best Friend products.

The Best Friend Grazing Muzzles have prevented thousands of horses around the world from suffering from founder and laminitis, while the Best Friend bareback pads have helped huge numbers of riders improve their balance, seat and confidence.  Here in New Zealand, dozens of Best Friend Bareback Pads are enjoyed by many riders, for many reasons such hacking & basic training. Many are being used Riding for the Disabled instructors to help disabled children & adults enjoy the pleasure and company of horses.
