About HorsePlay NZ
HorsePlay NZ is an Auckland-based online store, New Zealand owned and operated, with more than 20 years in the equestrian business. We are horse people ourselves — proud owners of one magnificent Clydesdale cross, Bonnie — and everything we do comes from a genuine love of horses and the people who care for them.
We don’t try to be everything to everyone. Rather than compete with the full-range tack shops, we focus on a carefully chosen collection of specialist products: things that are genuinely high quality, hard to find locally, and that make a real difference to the health, comfort and safety of horse and rider.
That means we are the New Zealand agents for the Best Friend Equine range — including the grazing muzzles that have helped thousands of horses worldwide avoid founder and laminitis, and the bareback pads that have helped riders of all levels build balance, seat and confidence. Many Riding for the Disabled venues rely on Best Friend Bareback Pads for exactly that reason.
We also carry Urad, the Italian-made leather care range that is a genuine product leader, and the Equine Products NZ (EPNZ) range of nutrients, supplements and calmers — all products we stand behind completely.
If you have questions about any of our products or want advice on what’s right for your horse, we’re easy to reach. This is a small business and you’ll always talk to someone who knows the products.
