Leather Mate is the original award-winning one-step leather cleaner and conditioner, developed by Urad in Italy. It is unique in that it cleans, conditions, shines and protects in one simple, fast step – leaving no oily or sticky residue. It generally helps restore colour in faded or damaged areas without the need to add colour.
For equestrian use, Leather Mate is ideal for saddles, bridles, boots, gloves, and all tack. Regular use keeps leather supple and extends its life considerably – important in New Zealand’s variable climate where leather can dry out quickly in summer or become saturated in winter.
The neutral version is suitable for all colours of smooth finished leather. For waterproofing and deep conditioning of thicker or oilier leathers – stock saddles, hiking boots, oilskin coats – use Mr Jo Jo. To soften and protect delicate leathers and light-coloured saddles without darkening them, use the specially formulated Tenderly. For a professional standard of cleaning before conditioning, use the Professional Leather Cleaner Spray.
Ingredients: The main ingredients include lanolin, carnauba wax and a refined oil from pine trees. Leather Mate also contains small quantities of fatty acids and ammonia, both naturally occurring substances.
